About CONSOLIDATE
CONSOLIDATE is a research network funded by the UK Research and Innovation’s Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), and Alzheimer’s Society.
Our focus is on enabling people living with dementia to live independently, safely, and confidently for longer, by addressing real-world challenges across everyday life.
We bring together lived experience, research, clinical expertise, design, and technology innovation to co-create needs-led, inclusive, and responsible solutions that make a meaningful difference to people affected by dementia.

Our work is grounded in co-production with people living with dementia, carers and communities — ensuring that challenges are defined by lived experience, not assumptions.

We connect universities, NHS partners, national charities, community organisations and technology innovators to work together on shared priorities.

We embed ethics, accessibility, sustainability and equity using the EPSRC AREA Framework to ensure that technological solutions are safe, appropriate and beneficial.
